Help needed choosing a solar system
Need Assistance in Selecting a Solar System
Hello everyone.
With a focus on competitive pricing and prompt delivery, GECONA SOLAR aims to be your preferred supplier and partner.
I am in search of a solar setup that can help mitigate power outages, which occur about 6-7 times a month, lasting between 1 to 6 hours.
Since this system will be utilized in a business environment, nighttime backup isn't necessary.
Current Load Peak: 36KW
Essential Power Requirements: Lighting, Fans, and Water Pump = 5KW
We pride ourselves on being the leading supplier of the globally recognized All In One Solar Power System. Our expert team is dedicated to assisting you in finding the right products for your needs.

I am facing a dilemma on whether to opt for a hybrid setup or a separate grid-tied and battery inverter configuration.
- Infini V 5KW
- Longi 375Wp Mono PERC = 16 units
- Exide 12v SolaTubular 150Ah = 8 units

- Please advise if there are any superior options available. Additionally, I would like to implement some form of monitoring software. Unfortunately, the ICC site seems to be unreachable from India. I might need to develop a solution that uploads data to the PVOutput website using an ESP32, Raspberry Pi, or a laptop. Is there any Serial Command Set information I can reference?
- How reliable is the Infini V model? What is its lifespan? Is the low voltage Solar DC input considered a drawback when compared to the true Infini series?
- This inverter does not appear to have a 4-stage or multi-stage charger—how does this affect the battery's lifespan? Would a battery equalizer be necessary?
- I’ve read that the inverter consumes approximately ~125W to keep running. If this is true, doesn’t that represent a loss in the energy generated? It seems that not all inverters consume such considerable power.
- The fans are currently reversing their flow, working against natural convection—should their direction be adjusted?
- Are there other alternatives that might be better?
- I trust that the grid-tied system will help lower electricity costs through energy production on Sundays, offsetting usage during times of lower load, thus assisting with air conditioning costs.
- Alternatively, would the Axpert VM II 5KW paired with 5KW of solar power be suitable for my needs if I consider going off-grid and purchasing additional batteries?
