Fluazifop-P-butyl is quickly absorbed via leaf surfaces, hydrolyzed to fluazifop-P, and then translocated through the phloem and xylem. It accumulates in the rhizomes and stolons of perennial grasses and the meristems of both annual and perennial grasses. It is utilized for the post-emergence control of wild oats, volunteer cereals, and various annual and perennial grass weeds in crops including oilseed rape, sugar beet, fodder beet, potatoes, vegetables, cotton, soybeans, pome fruit, and more. The application rate is between 125-375 g/ha. The herbicide is non-phytotoxic to broad-leaved crops.
