The Wallbox EV charger has a very small footprint on the wall (approximately 8" x 8") and comes with a 25-foot cable.

How long will it take to charge my EV?

Wallbox Pulsar is a Level 2 charger, which allows for faster charging than charging from a standard 120V outlet in your wall. A typical EV needs 3.5 kWh for 10 miles of range. The Wallbox Pulsar Plus EV Charger is capable of 9.6 kW, meaning you can charge up to 25-30 miles of range per hour. Actual charging speed also depends on your EV.

Can I schedule my EV charging or lock the charger?

If you would like to add solar generation capacity (additional solar panels) or SunVault® Storage, then yes, we can install the Wallbox EV Charger.

Will adding a Wallbox EV charger installation alongside my solar system installation change the time needed to install?

Yes, it will increase physical installation time slightly. Installing a Wallbox charger adds to the scope of work as it includes routing a 240V circuit and mounting the Wallbox EV charger on the wall.

Do Wallbox products fall under the SunPower Complete Confidence Warranty?
