A little smaller than I was expecting but they are thick enough to reuse. The lights are micro usb that connect right to the humidity adjustor. This does not come with a plug, but I had a double USB adapter that works perfectly.
The cords are short, only about 2 feet, so make sure that a plug is nearby it that they can be squished together on a table/lined up in a shelf.
The tops fit on loosely so that they can be removed for easy watering but as I was plugging them in I found myself knocking them right off.
I did not use the insert trays but each could fit the larger jiffy starter pellets if you squish 12 in there the right way. If using the smaller ones you could probably fit about 15-20 depending on how you grid them.
Overall a very nice set, I am happy with the $17 sale price, if it were more I am not sure I would have paid it after seeing the size.

If the plants are already tall, you don't need the humidity dome. It is to prevent tender seeds from drying out.Where I live it's humid enough that I don't use the top at all.
